At times we are like a tiny grain that falls to the ground and begins a process of dying before it can bear friut. Everything of the grain comes to a gradual end: it’s identity, security, peace, sense of completeness, and so on. It loses its companions, friends, relatives and slowly, under the force of sorrounding situations begins to end it’s existence as a peaceful, cute, little grain. However, it’s in letting this happen, patiently and yet remaining conscious of the life energy that’s working in the inner self that one begins to bring out a new shoot.
If a grain, when it’s immersed in to the dirty soil, devoid of all it’s companions, feels that it’s left without hope (apparently no hope) and gives up the struggle in the hard and dirty soil, that is the end of the story.
But if the grain let the process go on, unending untill it visibly sees the sprouting of the new life in the form of a shoot, then its life takes a new turn.
Any grain that gives up before it reaches this turning point ends up without really even being fully conscious of the immense possibility it had within. Had it only let the process go on and struggle day by day to face the challenges brought about by it……
