Will you take my hand, if I let you lead?
Why not let me chose, the voice I should heed?
Dear Lord, hold me up, perplexed I’m in depth,
Instill in my soul, freshness of your breath.
Was I far too young, when made a choice of mine?
Childish fantasies, I’m told, not all fine.
Though knew it was not, I kept saying ‘yes’,
With a silent prayer, wishing nothing less.
Now my life has reached, a point where roads part,
And I’m in agony, with a broken heart.
Voices surrounding, force to move along,
And I find myself, drifting all alone.
You left no room for me to doubt your call,
But you need to show how can I not fall.
Let your love transform, the pain I endure
To an offering of life that’s made pure.
