Glorious Mysteries in Vox Divini Way

Praying the Rosary while meditating on the Glorious Mysteries is a deeply uplifting experience, drawing us into the triumph and love of Jesus and Mary. Yet, for some of us, distractions can make it hard to stay present. These notes, with their vivid scenes and heartfelt conversations with Jesus, can help center our hearts, especially if we reflect on them a few times to absorb their sentiments. We don’t need to read them every time we pray the Rosary, but revisiting them occasionally can enrich our Hail Marys with greater depth. As we pray, let’s use our imagination, picturing ourselves speaking to Jesus with Mary beside us, her presence guiding us to open our hearts to her Son.

First Glorious Mystery: The Resurrection

Conversation with Jesus:
Jesus, I picture the quiet garden at dawn, the stone tomb sealed, the air cool and still. Mary Magdalene arrives, her heart heavy, but finds the stone rolled away, the tomb empty. You appear to her, alive, Your face radiant with peace, saying, “Do not be afraid.” The apostles hear the news, their fear turning to wonder. Mary, Your mother, though not there, rejoices in her heart, her faith in Your victory unshaken. Jesus, Your resurrection breaks the chains of death, filling the world with hope. Thank You, Jesus, for rising from the dead, bringing us new life. Thank You, Mary, for your steadfast faith in His promise. With Mary beside me, I want to live in Your risen joy.

  • Engage 2: Sharing the Good News
You sent Mary Magdalene to tell the apostles. With the help of mother  Mary, I too want to share Your good news with others.
  • Engage 3: Faith in God’s Power
Your resurrection shows God’s power over all. Mother Mary believed in that power. I want to trust in Your strength in my life.

Lord, I will trust in Your strength, as Mary believed in Your power. I want to rely on You, Jesus, knowing You conquer all darkness.

Second Glorious Mystery: The Ascension

Conversation with Jesus:
Jesus, I see You on a hillside near Jerusalem, the apostles gathered around, their eyes fixed on You. The sky is clear, the air warm as You speak, promising the Holy Spirit. You raise Your hands in blessing, and then You rise, lifted into the clouds, disappearing from sight. The apostles stand in awe, their hearts mixed with joy and longing. Mary, Your mother, gazes upward, her heart full of trust, knowing You remain with us. Jesus, Your ascension shows Your glory as our King. Thank You, Jesus, for ascending to prepare a place for us. Thank You, Mary, for your faith, trusting His eternal presence. With Mary beside me, I want to follow You to heaven.

The crowds outside marvel, hearing Your message. Jesus, Your Spirit empowers us to live for You. Thank You, Jesus, for sending Your Spirit to guide us.
