Betrayal of a Friend

She was still crying and kept repeating over the phone, “I can’t believe it.” once a while she added, ” My best friend betrayed me, I’m a loser. I listened to her calmly and attempted to intervene when she paused a moment and sighed deeply. But soon she picked rythm again and I had to stop. My silence for about half an hour made her ask, “Are u there?” I said, “Yes, I am listening.” “I don’t know what I should do,” she continued, ” I am a loser.” “Can I tell you something?” I intervened. ” Don’t think that you are a loser dear. You have gained something today. You have learned who your real friends are and who are not. And you have learned how to differentiate between them.” She did not reply. May be she was thinking. In any case I did not need a reply. But after two days she called back and said, ” Thank you brother, you were right.”

  1. It very sad when my best friend whom I love the most is the one who breaks my heart. I had beautiful memories together, sharing the laughter as well as the sadness. But suddenly the friendship has gone after the betrayal. I cannot trust that friend anymore because I am afraid that friend will hurt me again.
But but when I read about these words from the Bible Matthew 26:21-23
As they were eating, He said, Truly I say to you that one of you will betray Me. Being deeply grieved, they each one began to say to Him, Surely not I, Lord? And He answered, He who dipped his hand with Me in the bowl is the one who will betray Me.
My thought change the how merciful Our Lord He already knew that person who will betray him He still had the last supper with him.
Really Our Lord God is Our best friend
    John 15:13
Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends.
